— Short scene script

Five scenes · one morning

  1. Scene 100:00 – 00:09

    Morning Stillness.

The bedroom rests in soft sunrise light. Sheer curtains move gently in the breeze. A white cat lies comfortably on the bed, surrounded by textured bedding and warm shadows.

Sound — Light breeze, distant birds, soft fabric movement.

  2. Scene 200:09 – 00:17

    Arrival.

The woman steps barefoot through the curtains. The camera follows her feet across the sunlit floor before revealing her standing beside the window with a warm cup.

Sound — Bare footsteps, curtains brushing, subtle room ambience.

  3. Scene 300:17 – 00:26

    Morning Pause.

She takes a quiet sip while looking outside. The sunlight moves across her face and the bedroom wall. She remains still for a moment.

Sound — Soft cup movement, faint birds, restrained ambient music.

  4. Scene 400:26 – 00:36

    Quiet Ritual.

She walks toward the bed and places the cup on the bedside table. An open magazine rests on the blanket. She sits, lifts the magazine and slowly turns a page.

Sound — Ceramic touching wood, bedding movement, page turn.

  5. Scene 500:36 – 00:45

    Final Reveal.

The camera slowly pulls back as she continues reading. The complete bedroom is revealed — the woman, the cat, soft curtains, pendant lights and morning sunlight forming one calm composition.

Sound — Held ambience. Music resolves. Silence at the frame.

— Storyboard

One sheet · hand-drawn

Act I00:00 – 00:14

Stillness.

The room, before anyone. Cat, curtains, light. The space is introduced as if it has been waiting all night.

Slow push-in. Low camera. No dialogue.

Act II00:14 – 00:33

Awakening.

She arrives — a hand at the curtain, bare feet, a cup of coffee held to the window. The room and the person meet.

Details before faces. Held portraits. VO begins.

Act III00:33 – 00:45

Belonging.

Pages turn. The camera pulls back until the room, the light and the life inside it become one composition.

Overhead inserts, slow pullback, hero reveal.

The film is written before it’s shot. The room is designed before it’s lived in. Both start the same way — one frame at a time.

IThe approach

The road that already feels like home.

A drive along the front of a family villa — palms leaning in, the tarmac still cool.

IIThe threshold

A doorway that greets you before anyone does.

Warm stone, a round mirror, a single figure caught in the light. The house exhales as you step in.

IIIBedroom drift

The camera lingers where the body would rest.

A slow, deliberate walk through a bedroom shaped like exhale. No cuts. Nothing announces itself.

IVChapter III

The room, in motion.

The camera moves the way a memory moves — unhurried, always toward the light. Let it take a minute of you.
